Zombie Buddy

After discovering his mother’s suicide 13-year-old Freddy David is taken in by his estranged Grandmother, and brought to his mother’s mysterious hometown of Sunrise, population 172. Sunrise has a secret. A secret protected by a solar electric fence.

The fence isn’t to keep people out, as Freddy learns, but to keep the town zombie in. A zombie named Buddy who can re-animate the dead.

Together Buddy and Freddy set off on an adventure to resurrect Freddy’s dead mother. While Freddy struggles with the morality of raising the dead he and Buddy must take care to not reveal Sunrise’s secret zombie from being exposed to the outside world.
